Recipe for Androgenetic Alopecia

A Scalp-Loving Recipe to Support Hair Growth Naturally

Eat to Heal: A Recipe That Supports Hair Thinning at the Root

When you're dealing with hereditary hair thinning (Androgenetic Alopecia), what you eat matters. Your follicles need specific nutrients to grow stronger strands and push through hormonal changes. That’s why we created this scalp-supportive recipe packed with ingredients your hair will thank you for.

No gimmicks. No powders. Just real food your body can actually use.

What’s In This Recipe (and Why It Works)

This recipe focuses on three things:

  • Iron – To help deliver oxygen to your scalp and support follicles

  • Protein – The building block of strong, resilient strands

  • Omega-3s – To fight inflammation and support a healthy scalp

Customer Testimonial

One of our longtime Boosties, Cheryl in Maryland, shared her experience: Boostie Tip from Bri in Detroit

“I started eating more iron-rich foods like lentils and greens, plus using Hair Boost every other day. I didn’t expect it, but my stylist noticed less shedding after two months. Even my scalp flaking calmed down.”

🥗 Boostie Iron & Omega Bowl

(Serves 2)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa (protein + iron)

  • 1 cup baby spinach (iron + folate)

  • ½ cup cooked lentils (iron + zinc)

  • ½ avocado (omega-3s + biotin)

  • 2 boiled eggs or ½ cup chickpeas (protein + biotin)

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (omega-3s)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or lemon vinaigrette

  • Sea salt + black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, layer quinoa as the base.

  2. Add spinach, lentils, avocado, and egg or chickpeas.

  3. Sprinkle ground flaxseed on top.

  4. Drizzle with olive oil or lemon vinaigrette.

  5. Mix gently and enjoy warm or cold.

Why This Helps With Hereditary Hair Thinning

  • Spinach + Lentils: Help replenish iron and prevent follicle weakness

  • Avocado + Flaxseed: Fight scalp inflammation

  • Eggs/Chickpeas + Quinoa: Feed your hair the protein it needs to stay strong

Bonus: This bowl keeps your energy stable and your skin glowing too.

Real Question from a Subscriber

Q: “Is eating better really enough to fix my thinning hair?”

A: Eating alone won’t reverse hereditary hair loss—but it lays the foundation. When you feed your body the right nutrients and care for your scalp consistently with the right products, you give your hair a real chance to recover. It’s about support from both sides—inside and out.

Pair Your Plate with the Right Routine

Eating right helps—but don’t skip your wash day.

✅ Week 1: Use the Starter Kit to deep clean and repair

✅ Week 3: Use the Moisture Kit to restore hydration 👉🏾

✅ Between: Massage Hair Boost 3x/week into thinning spots

Stick with it. Healing takes time, but your scalp will respond when you’re consistent—inside and out.

Have always loved your products!

I started using your products about four years ago, my hair grew like crazy. I had to keep coloring it to keep the gray out, but decided to go Natural, my gray came in beautifully, and my hair is still growing. Thank you Nae Nae.

Hair Boost cream or serum. It's doesn't matter which one you select they both work great. I've been using Hair Boost since losing my hair to chemo/radiation in 2020 and it has done wonders for me. I recommend it to everyone!!! Thx Donya D

I normally wear my hair in the two strands twist without or without hair added. My edges became so thin, my hair would tangle so much be so hard to untangle and I have tried many hair products to make my hair nice. I want it beautiful.
